Captain Ritchie's Banjo 2015
Special production presentation four string tenor practice banjo with chambered teak body topped by a spruce skin. Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Rosewood binding, bridge and tailpiece cover. Oiled finish.
Captain David Ritchie (seated) being demonstrated the banjo in Casa Rosina, El Toril, Andalucia 2015, at the presentation of the instrument. David played the banjo for many years, but was without an instrument when I met him. This instrument hopefully will allow him to practice quietly in the corner until he feels confident enough to fit a couple of humbuckers and buy a Marshall stack.
